A little about me: My name is Jessica and I was born and raised in Huntsville, AL. I went to Auburn University and received a degree in Nutrition/Dietetics. I do not use that degree. I work for a contractor full-time and am pursuing an MBA in my spare time. I also run a local organization called the North Alabama Crafters. It kind of sparked from my etsy jewelry crafting and a desire to network with other local artists. Now we put on our own shows (like this upcoming one on March 31st)
I've been married for 3 1/2 years now. I knew my husband from highschool, but we never really talked much. We both took Chemistry 2 at the local community college the summer before my sophmore year and took a couple trips to Auburn that summer. It was nice to find someone I could both hang out with during the summer that would also be around when I went back to school. He unbegrudgingly went to all my sorority events and trips. We got married soon after we graduated.Now I've begun a great juggling act. I like to have every minute planned, and I particularly enjoy the fun stuff. I'm trying to figure out how to balance it all and still stay sane. What truly falls to the wayside is cleaning. I wouldn't have a sole over to our house at this point. Things pile up and I get overwhelmed. I lack a domestic gene I think. My mother always remarks that I keep my person together impeccably but everything else in chaos. I look through ever Two Maids and a Mop newsletter hoping to see my name called for their giveaway, but alas-- it has not happened!
What can you expect on this blog? I'll do my best to write about school, the NAC, and my profound love of Living Social deals-- particularly the fitness packages. I would love some followers!
